Sophia

How time flies. My daughter Sophia is almost four. Wow!!! We want to get her a big girl bed so she stays out of her brothers room at night. She said she wants a princess bed. All girl. She told me she wants her room painted pink and purple with sparkles. She wants her door painted purple. I want to check out IKEA or the Room Store.

Decided on a Theme

I decided to do a Barbie Princess theme. My daughter loves the Barbie Princess and the Pauper Movie. She is really into castles. She pretends she has a castle and sometimes pretend she is going to her castle. So cute!!! Well anyways I found a cool website that has plans for a really neat cardboard castle using refrigerator boxes. I hope I can find 8 refrigerator box by the beginning of May. I am going to try a local appliance store in my area. I was so excited to find this website.

Barbie Party

My daughter wants to have a Barbie Birthday Party for her 4th Birthday. I need to start thinking now of how I want to decorate and what theme. I would love to make a little runway for the girls to go down and model their Barbies. My daughter is the girly girl type and would love to have a Barbie princess theme. Myself I would love to do a Retro Vintage Barbie Theme but I don't think she would understand. I love the classic Barbie things out at Wal Mart. I might have to get them for myself. My daughter's birthday is in May but I need lots of time to plan. I like everything perfect.

I can't wait for spring!!!! I saw a cute picture in a magazine that had a red Radio Flyer wagon with red geraniums in it. That would look so cute on my front porch. I decided to make a new journal. I write or draw things that I see in magazines or just neat ideas I see visiting friends. I found a neat site yesterday called http://www.ipaidlessthanyou.blogspot.com/ I was looking for a stainless steel garbage can and this web site said she found a good one at Sam's Club for less than $50. I like finding things for a bargain!!! Some times I can find things at my local Economy Store. Yesterday my kids and I made jewelry. They love sitting there and making their own creations. I finished two necklaces that I started several months ago.

Day before Valentines

I went to the dollar store with my kids today to get daddy balloons for Valentines Day. Well we get home and hide them in the closet. While sitting at the dinner table my daughter Sophia proceeds to say,"Daddy we got......" Quickly I said, "Sshh it's a secret." Well she started crying and didn't understand.

I call my husband every night to see what time he's getting home and what to make for supper. Well anyway he said he had a strange day at work. I proceeded to ask what happened and he said," I got off the elevator and saw a flower delivery guy waiting there." The guy asked where office 220 was and my husband said ,"That's my office." So he shows the guy the office. Then my husband says,"Who are they for?" Well the delivery guy says, "Chris ." My husband said he almost fell over. He said, "I can't believe my wife got me a basket of chocolate!" It wasn't flowers. He said he was so excited until he saw the card. It wasn't from me. It was from a client. He could of died!!! I feel like an awful wife!!!!! Why didn't I think of that.

Welcome to my new blog. I am very excited to start blogging. I named my blog after my child hood nickname Lu-Le Bell. I am a very creative person and love to do all kinds of things. My latest hobby is making unique jewelry. I started making necklaces out of old silver coins. My father rolls them very flat and I stamp cute sayings on them. I have many projects going at once. I don't know why I do this. I have a three year old daughter who was blessed with some very thick blond hair, so recently I started making sweet little bows. I asked for a soldering iron for christmas and got the whole kit and caboodle to make soldered art charms. I have Sally Jean Alexanders book "Pretty Little Things" Wow was I inspired by that book. I told my husband that I needed the Weller 100, nothing different. It had to be the one Sally Jean uses.
